Do you already have help scheduled, but may need more?

Midwives and Labor Doulas

If you are fortunate to have a midwife or labor doula present during the birth, we can be a great continuation of that support if they do not provide postpartum assistance. Telling your story and having someone to give you feedback and answer your questions is paramount to both your physical and emotional well being as a new parent.

Family and Friends

If you have family and friends who have offered to provide assistance after the birth, we can be there to show them the latest techniques in infant care or come in at night so that everyone can get the rest they need. We can also step in to help once everyone returns home and you are on your own.

Pediatrician Assistance

We can also be a tremendous help in the record keeping that is crucial to the effectiveness of the care provided by your Pediatrician. Our Newborn Care Specialists maintain detailed tracksheets that can be used to show how much your infant has eaten, eliminated and other physical progress. This will make it easier for everyone to see patterns and provide solutions that will help your infant(s) thrive.
