Itzbeen Baby Care Timer

The ITZBEEN™ Baby Care Timer fits in the palm of your hand and is super easy to use. It was developed by new parents who wanted a multi-purpose nursery tool to help them remember baby care details, such as when their baby last ate or napped. The ITZBEEN™ has four timers that count up with the touch of a button, and a host of other helpful features, all designed with the needs of a new parent in mind.

There is a clip on the back so you can mount it to anything that is convenient .This way you always know where it is. If you connect it to something that is close to the baby you can easily set it with one hand.

Everything is marked with an appropriate picture so it is easy to decipher what you want to set:

• When you press the picture of the diaper, the next time you read it, it will tell you how long it has been since the last diaper change
• The bottle is for feeding
• ZZZ is for when the baby fell asleep
• An asterisk for any medication, exercise or other use you may need

It has a button that turns on a small light that is enough to see by, but won't be disturbing to the baby. It also has a button that lights your selections in red. If you are breast feeding there is a dial that you can easily move to tell you which side you started on at the last feeding (Left/Right).

This device eliminates the need to write everything down while you are caring for the baby; no paper, pen or writing space needed. When holding it in your hand it has a switch on  the thumb side to lock your setting so they aren't reset accidentally. On the index finger side you have a switch to set the alarm that will light up to get your attention or you can set it for a audio alarm. It also has a clock.

We found it very easy to use and don't think a sleep deprived parent would have any problems at all getting the maximum benefits of this handy device.

The only drawback we noticed is that you won't have a long term history of eating habits and/or elimination which can be very helpful in deciphering possible issues with the baby. This could be achieved however by using the ITZBEEN™ for daily input and then recording the information on paper when you are not attending to the baby during the day.
